Levietta McCullough has been named Championships Assistant for the Big 12 Conference. She will serve in her role for the 2014-15 academic year.
McCullough joins the Big 12 staff after spending time at the University of Oklahoma. She was most recently the lead graduate research assistant at OU, supporting various departmental processes, coordinating weekly meetings and supervising undergraduate student workers. While in Norman, she was also an assistant in stadium hospitality for Sooner football games.
The Oklahoma City native has completed an internship with the Oklahoma City All-Sports Association, assisting with the planning and coordination of the numerous special events hosted by the group. She also worked with the Big 12 as a volunteer at the 2014 Phillips 66 Big 12 Women’s Basketball Championship.
McCullough earned her Bachelor of Science from Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas in 2010. She also completed her Master of Education degree at the University of Oklahoma in 2014, majoring in Adult and Higher Eduction with a concentration in Intercollegiate Athletics Administration. She began her work with the Big 12 Conference on August 7.
