Scoring Story
There were 20 rushing touchdowns scored that averaged 7.7 yards in length and 14 passing touchdowns that averaged 16.1 yards in length.

The eight teams combined to average 75.6 plays and 418.1 yards in total offense. The 606 offensive plays from scrimmage averaged 5.5 yards.

There were 34 scoring drives; 12 took less than two minutes and four of those took less than one minute.

Baylor (7-0 overall, 4-0 in Big 12; defeated Iowa State, 45-27; at Kansas State, Nov. 5)
Junior wide receiver Corey Coleman now has a school record 31 career touchdown receptions. Running back Shock Linwood has 33 career rushing touchdowns. The school record is 35.
Baylor is averaging 56.6 points per game and 666.4 yards per game in 10 games McLane Stadium.
Baylor has outscored opponents 390-214 and leads the nation in victory margin (25.1 points per game). 

Iowa State (2-5 overall, 1-3 in Big 12; lost at Baylor, 45-27; at Oklahoma Nov. 7)
Quarterback Joel Lanning had career highs in completions (12), attempts (17), yards (144) and touchdowns (three).
Freshman running back Mike Warren gained 145 yards rushing on a career-high 28 carries.
Iowa State is 0-29-1 in its last 30 road games against teams ranked in the top 10.
Iowa State held Baylor scoreless in the third quarter; the Bears have failed to score in just three quarters all season. Baylor was limited to a season-low 485 yards of total offense. 
After playing TCU and Baylor, Iowa State has twice faced Associated Press Top 5 teams in consecutive games (1971: Oct. 30 at No. 2 Oklahoma, Nov. 6 at No. 1 Nebraska).
There are 12 undefeated teams left in FBS, Iowa State has played or will play five of the 12.

Kansas (0-7 overall, 0-4; lost at Oklahoma State, 58-10; vs. Oklahoma Saturday)
Senior wide receiver Tre’ Parmalee had a career-high 115 yards in receiving.
Sophomore linebacker Joe Dineen finished the game with a career-high 11 tackles, including a sack for a six-yard loss.
Kansas allowed a blocked punt for a touchdown in the second quarter. The last time KU allowed that to happen was in 2010 against Oklahoma State.
Kansas has lost 33 consecutive true road games and overall 36 consecutive played away from Lawrence. The Jayhawks have also lost 29 consecutive Big 12 road games.

Kansas State (3-4 overall, 0-4 in Big 12; lost at Texas, 23-9; vs. Baylor Nov. 5)
Running back Charles Jones had a career-high 122 yards rushing.
Kansas State’s two-game total of nine points is its lowest since 2006.
Kansas State’s four-game losing streak is the longest since 2008 when the Wildcats lost five in a row.
The last time Kansas State started 0-4 in Big 12 play was 2001.

Oklahoma (6-1 overall; 3-1 in Big 12; defeated Texas Tech, 63-27; at Kansas Saturday)
Joe Mixon finished with career highs in rushing yards (154) and carries (16).
OU had two players (Samaje Perine and Mixon) with at least 100 yards rushing and two rushing TDs each for the first time since the 2008 Big 12 Championship game vs. Missouri. Perine and Mixon combined for 355 of the Sooners’ 405 rushing yards.
Oklahoma has scored 55 or more points in consecutive games for the first time since 2011.
Over the last two games, the Sooners have intercepted seven passes (four against Texas Tech, three against Kansas State). The last time OU recorded seven interceptions in a two-game stretch was in the 2000 national championship year (five against Kansas, two against Texas).

Oklahoma State (7-0 overall, 4-0 in Big 12; defeated Kansas, 58-10; at Texas Tech Saturday)
Quarterback J.W. Walsh has accounted for at least one touchdown in every game. He had three rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns against Kansas, his third game with multiple TDs. His five touchdowns matched a career high.
Quarterback Mason Rudolph has 38 completions that have covered 20 or more yards.
Chris Lacy had two touchdown receptions, the first of his career and also had a career-best 38-yard reception.
Oklahoma State had a season-high 583 yards of total offense, surpassing the previous high of 578 against Central Arkansas.
In three previous games with Kansas, Oklahoma State managed just 315 yards rushing on 112 attempts (2.8 yards per carry). Saturday the Cowboys gained 202 yards in 47 carries, an average of 4.3 per try.

TCU (7-0 overall, 4-0 in Big 12; did not play; vs. West Virginia Thursday)
The Horned Frogs return to action with a prime-time (FS1) home game.

Texas (3-4, 2-2; defeated Kansas State 23-9; at Iowa State Saturday)
Running back Johnathan Gray had a season-high 103 yards on 18 carries.
Texas had a season-low 35 yards in penalties and allowed a season low in sacks (one).
Under coach Charlie Strong, Texas is 9-1 when scoring first.
Texas limited Kansas State to 3.9 yards per play and did not allow a play of 20 or more yards.
Texas has totaled 11 sacks in the last two games.

Texas Tech (5-3 overall, 2-3 in Big 12; lost at Oklahoma, 63-27; vs. Oklahoma State Saturday)
Linebacker Dakota Allen (15) and defensive back J.J. Gaines (14) each had career highs in tackles.
Texas Tech scored a season low in points and finished with 436 yards of total offense, snapping a four-game streak where the Red Raiders had recorded at least 500 yards of offense.
Texas Tech had 34 plays of 30 or more yards before facing Oklahoma but managed zero such plays against the Sooners.
In its three Big 12 losses (TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma), Texas Tech has allowed an average of 60.3 points and 682.3 yards in total offense.

West Virginia (3-3 overall, 0-3 in Big 12; did not play; at TCU Thursday)
The Mountaineers return to action and take on their fourth-consecutive ranked team.
