10 from Big 12 Earn CoSIDA Academic All-District

A total of 10 Big 12 men’s and women’s basketball student-athletes garnered Academic All-District® recognition from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Thursday.

Vladimir Brodziansky (TCU – District 7), Jevon Carter (West Virginia – District 2) and Jake Lindsey (Baylor – District 7) earned first team accolades.  

Brittany Brewer (Texas Tech), Lauren Cox (Baylor) and Shaelyn Martin (Kansas State) also earned First Team District 7 recognition. Additionally, Kayla Goth (Kansas State), Kayle Jensen (Oklahoma State), Gabbi Ortiz (Oklahoma) and Peyton Williams (Kansas State) were named to the District 7 Second Team.

First-team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team ballot, with first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees to be announced in March.
