Four Big 12 Standouts Selected in WNBA Draft

Four Big 12 women’s basketball players were selected in the 2018 WNBA Draft to elevate the Conference’s all-time total to 113 in the 22-year history of the professional league.

Texas guard Ariel Atkins was picked seventh overall by the Washington Mystics, marking the 35th time a Big 12 player has been selected in the first round.

In the second round, guard Kristy Wallace (Baylor) was selected fourth by the Atlanta Dream. Two picks later, Oklahoma State guard Loryn Goodwin was picked sixth by the Dallas Wings. West Virginia forward Teana Muldrow was the fifth pick of the third round by the Seattle Storm.

The draft consists of three rounds and 36 draft selections.
