No. 4 seed Oklahoma softball advanced to Sunday at the Women's College World Series behind a 2-0 victory over No. 2 Florida on Saturday night.
The Sooners will have a rematch with No. 5 Washington on Sunday at noon CT on ESPN. OU will have to win twice to advance to reach the Championship Series, while Washington just needs one win.
The win marked the first time in program history that OU won two WCWS games after losing its opener.
Paige Parker threw her second shutout of the day, third of the NCAA tournament and eighth of the season. She fanned two hits while striking out eight, retiring 13 of the last 14 batters she faced.
For the second straight game, Jocelyn Alo put the Sooners on the board with a solo home run. The blast was her 30th of the season, matching the Oklahoma single-season home run record and the NCAA Division I freshman home run record.
In the bottom of the fifth, a wild pitch strikeout gave Caleigh Clifton space to reach home from third to double Oklahoma's lead.
