The men’s and women’s cross country teams of the Big 12 will compete in their respective regions on Friday, November 9 in the 2018 NCAA Regionals. Each team is competing for a chance to run in the 2018 NCAA Championships in Madison, Wisconsin, scheduled for Saturday, November 17, 2018.
Iowa State, the Big 12 men’s and women’s conference champions, will head to the Midwest Regional in Peoria, Illinois, on Friday morning as Bradley University will host. Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State will join the Cyclones in Peoria. The women’s race will start at 11:00 a.m. CT and the men’s race will begin at 12:00 p.m. CT.
The Texas Tech men’s and women’s teams will travel to Provo, Utah for the Mountain Regional, hosted by BYU. The women’s race is set to start at 12:00 p.m. CT, while the men will begin at 1:00 p.m. CT.
The Mid-Atlantic Regional will take place in University Park, Pennsylvania, hosted by Penn State. The West Virginia women’s team be the only Big 12 squad heading to Penn State for the race which is slated to start at 11:00 a.m. CT.
Baylor, TCU and Texas, with their respective men’s and women’s teams, will head to the South Central Regional which will be hosted by Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. The women will take off at 9:15 a.m. CT, while the men’s race is set to start at 10:15 a.m. CT.
With nine regional races, the top two teams from each region will automatically qualify for the NCAA Championships in Madison, Wisconsin on November 17, 2018. To
