For the first time this season, Big 12 Co-Wrestlers of the Week were named as Tanner Orndorff (Utah Valley) and Branson Ashworth (Wyoming) garnered the weekly honors.

Orndorff went perfect on the weekend (2-0) in Big 12 dual action against No. 20 Cale Davidson of Wyoming and Tyrell Gordon of Northern Iowa. In the two matches, Orndorff recorded a total of six takedowns with three in each dual. With the victories, Orndorff holds a 13-9 record on the season and a 9-5 clip in dual action. This award marks his second all-time and second for Utah Valley this season.

The Wyoming senior went 2-0 on the weekend, helping the Cowboys to a pair of Big 12 wins. Against Utah Valley, Ashworth dominated No. 9 Demetrius Romero in a 6-1 match on the road, followed by a 16-0 technical fall over South Dakota State’s Kelby Hawkins. Ashworth has won 15 bouts in a row heading into his final dual of the season. Overall, this week’s award marks his second on the season, as well as second all-time, and places Wyoming at a tie for the most weekly award winners this season with four.
