Junior Greta Bruner (TCU) and sophomore Matthew Wolff (Oklahoma State) received Big 12 honors for the month of February.
Bruner garnered Women’s Golfer of the Month for tying a 54-hole record with her 6-under-par 210 at the ICON Invitational. Totaling 12 birdies, the junior finished second individually, just three strokes off the pace. The golfer closed the month with a stroke average of 71.8 and four consecutive rounds of par or below. She also has had five top-10 finishes in her last 11 tournaments.
Wolff was awarded Men’s Golfer of the Month after earning his fourth consecutive full-field victory at the Amer Ari Invitational, finishing under 198. The California native now owns the school record for victories by a sophomore. Wolff also made his first PGA Tour start, where he made the cut at the Waste Management Phoenix Open after carding rounds of 67, 70, 72, 72 for a 3-under total of 281 to tie for 50th place. The golfer ended the month with a stroke average of 68.83.
This is the second career award for Bruner and Wolff.
