Big 12 Squads Meet in OKC for Softball Championship

OKLAHOMA CITY - The 2019 Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship opens Friday, May 10, and concludes on Saturday, May 11, at the USA Hall of Fame Stadium Complex in Oklahoma City.

The top-six teams in the conference will compete in a combination of pool play format (Friday) and bracket play (Saturday). The Championship opens with two games at 11 a.m. CT on Friday.

Oklahoma earned the No. 1 overall seed after going undefeated in Big 12 play, becoming the first team in conference history to go undefeated in consecutive seasons. Oklahoma State (13-5 Big 12) locked in the No. 2 seed followed by No. 3 Texas (12-6 Big 12), No. 4 Texas Tech (8-10 Big 12), No. 5 Iowa State (7-11 Big 12) and No. 6 Kansas (3-15 Big 12).

Teams in Pool A are Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas Tech, while Iowa State, Texas and Oklahoma State will play in Pool B.

All games on the INTEGRIS field are televised on FOX College Sports, while the games on Field 3 will be streamed on FloSoftball. The championship game is slated to begin at 4 p.m. CT Saturday, May 11, on FS2. Games on FCS and FS2 are also available via the FOX Sports app.

All-Session tickets for the Championship have sold out. A limited number of individual game day tickets will be available. Tickets for Friday, May 10th may be purchased on-site at the ticket office beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT while supplies last. The ticket is good for all games on May 10th.  Pool play will begin at 11 a.m. CT with games on both Integris and Field 3. 

Tickets for Saturday, May 11th may be purchased on-site beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT while supplies last. The three games on Saturday will be played on Integris Field with action beginning at 11 a.m. CT and conclude with the championship game, scheduled for 4 p.m. CT.

Tickets will be limited to 10 per purchaser. Prices per day are $14 for Adults and $9 for Youth/Students/Seniors.

The Phillips 66 Big 12 Softball Championship returned in 2017 after a seven-year hiatus. Oklahoma won the 2017 and 2018 Big 12 Softball Championships, claiming its second-consecutive and sixth overall postseason title.
