Fourteen Big 12 Golfers Earn All-America Honors

A total of fourteen Big 12 men’s golf student-athletes were named to the Division I PING All-America teams, announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA). Three were named to the first team, one to second and two to third. A total of 32 golfers were named honorable mention All-America, including eight Big 12 golfers.

Texas’ Cole Hammer and Oklahoma State’s Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff were previously named to the PING All-America First Team. Sandy Scott of Texas Tech earned second team honors, while TCU’s Stefano Mazzoli and OSU’s Austin Eckroat received third team recognition.

Eight golfers garnered honorable mention status: Zach Bauchou (Oklahoma State), Steven Chervony (Texas), Parker Coody (Texas), Pierceson Coody (Texas), Quade Cummins (Oklahoma), Tripp Kinney (Iowa State), Garret Reband (Oklahoma) and Patrick Welch (Oklahoma).
