The 2012 Big 12 Tennis Championships will be held at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas from April 26-May 29. The Aggies have hosted the event on three additional occasions (1999, 2002, '08).

The 3,000-seat center has 12 lighted courts, a special covered courtside seating area, locker rooms for both teams, coaches' offices, a training room and a players' lounge. The facility hosted NCAA Championships in 2002 and 2005 (men) and 2009 (men and women).

The Texas A&M men earned their fourth title and first since 2001 last season. Texas also has four overall crowns, while the BU men lead the conference with seven championship trophies (2002-05, 2007-09). The Baylor women have won the past six postseason conference titles (2006-11). The Longhorn women hold the most wins overall with seven (1997-2002, '05). Oklahoma State was crowned in 2003, while Texas A&M won in 2004.
