Four Earn Swimming & Diving Weekly Awards

Student-athletes from Missouri, Texas and Texas A&M received Big 12 swimming and diving weekly honors for competition through Jan. 23. Nick D'Innocenzo (Texas) earned the weekly conference honor for men's swimming, while his teammate Drew Livingston was tabbed for the men's diver accolade. On the women's side, Breeja Larson (Texas A&M) garnered the weekly award for swimmer as Loren Figueroa (Missouri) took home the diving honor. This is the second award for D'Innocenzo and Figueroa, while it is the first for Larson and Livingston.

Men's Swimmer of the Week
Nick D'Innocenzo, Texas, So., Andover, Mass./Andover
D'Innocenzo posted four wins against Auburn and Georgia. At Auburn, the sophomore from Andover, Mass., recorded a victory in the 200 individual medley, posting a top time of 1:48.25. He notched a narrow win over Adam Klein in the 200 breaststroke in 1:56.96. His first win against Georgia came in the 400 individual medley, where he was victorious with a time of 3:50.77. D'Innocenzo finished the meet taking first in the 200 breaststroke with a 1:58.66 mark. All of his times qualified for NCAA "B" marks.

Men's Divers of the Week
Drew Livingston, Texas, Jr., The Woodlands, Texas/The Woodlands
Livingston won three of his four events in UT's loss at Auburn and win at Georgia. Livingston defeated Auburn All-American Dan Mazzaferro in the one-meter event with a score of 393.68. At Georgia, the The Woodlands, Texas-native won the three-meter event by nearly 60 points (399.90). He also took top honors in the one-meter event with a 372.52 mark.

Women's Swimmers of the Week
Breeja Larson, Texas A&M, Fr., Mesa, Ariz./Mountain View
Larson was one of six Aggies to post multiple victories in their meet on Jan. 22 against No. 23 LSU. The freshman from Mesa, Ariz. began the meet as a member of the women's 400-yard medley squad, which turned in a top time of 3:41.89. Larson also took home gold in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.80) and the 200 breast (2:13.47).

Women's Diver of the Week
Loren Figueroa, Missouri, So., Oklahoma City, Okla./Kingwood
Figueroa shattered her personal best as well as Missouri's school record with her first place, 376.05 point-finish in the three-meter dive. Her final score was a full 35 points higher than the previous University record (340.73). She also placed second in the one-meter dive, scoring a 307.80. Figueroa also came in second in the one-meter against No. 14 Minnesota, with 303.60 points.
