The top OU boat traveled to Austin, Texas for the Longhorn Invitational on March 22-24 and turned in a dominating performance. They won all four races against Big 12 rivals Kansas State and Texas, and also San Diego and Tulsa. The race with the Longhorns came in the finals, and an 11.9 second win secured the Longhorn Invitational title.

The win capped a perfect weekend for OU’s varsity boats, which went a perfect 15-0 in Austin, the first time the OU varsity squad won every race at a multi-day competition. It also was the first time in the five year history of the program that all four of OU’s varsity boats swept Texas in one competition, all in Sunday’s finals.
