OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - No. 2 seeded Missouri struck early against No. 7 Oklahoma State as they scored four in the bottom of the first inning. Senior Lindsey Ubrun put the Tigers on the board first, 3-0, as she hit her 15th homerun of the season. Marla Schweisberger was hit by pitch and scored after Megan Christopher singled to left field to give MU the 4-0 go ahead. The Tigers continued to tally runs as they knotched four more in second, and two in the third.
Despite getting in three hits during the game, OSU was unable to get on the board as the Tigers closed out the contest in four and a half innings, with the final score being 10-0. Missouri (43-9) will see next see the winner between Baylor and Texas A&M at 5 p.m. The Cowgirls are 17-25 all-time in Big 12 Championship play, as they end their regular season with a 34-20 mark.
