Eckerman, a sophomore, earns her eighth Big 12 weekly honor. As a freshman in 2011, she totaled five Rookie of the Week accolades and was a two-time Offensive Player of the Week. This is her third career Offensive distinction, and her eight honors are fourth all-time on the Big 12 career weekly awards list.
This marks the sixth career Defensive honor for Hahn, who earned the award last week and four times in 2011. She has the third-most awards in that category all-time, trailing Caitlynn Vann (nine, Missouri) and Ashley Mass (15, Iowa State). Hahn's teammate Bigbee earns her first career recognition, collecting the Rookie of the Week honor.
All three award-winners are from the state of Iowa.
