Texas, Kansas State, Kansas and Iowa State remain ranked in the AVCA national poll. The Longhorns and Cyclones maintain their rankings from last week with UT staying at No. 8 and ISU at No. 22. K-State dropped two spots to No. 16, while Kansas moved up to No. 17, the highest ranking in program history.

The four teams, along with OU, are in the top 40 on the NCAA RPI rankings as well. Texas (4) and Kansas (8) sit in the top 10. The No. 8 spot is also a program-best for KU.

The second half of league play begins this week with eight matches on tap, including a Sunday matinee between Texas and Oklahoma on ESPNU. The Sooners are the last conference team to defeat Texas, which holds a 22-match Big 12 win streak. OU defeated the Longhorns in the last meeting between the two squads in Norman on Sept. 28, 2011.

Texas remains atop the Big 12 standings with a perfect 8-0 mark in conference play. UT has only lost two sets in league competition this season. The Longhorns rallied from an 0-2 deficit for a five-set win against the No. 22 Iowa State last Wednesday. It was the first time that Texas has won after losing the first two sets of a match since the 2009 season opener against Long Beach State.

Kansas, at 7-1 in league play, sits in second place and maintains a 12-0 mark at home this season. The Jayhawks were selected to finish sixth in the coaches' preseason poll. Kansas State, Oklahoma and Iowa State remain in a three-way tie for third place.

In Big 12 history, 15 teams have posted undefeated records at home over 16 years of play. At least one conference team has been perfect at home in overall matches in every season but 2002 and 2004.

Kansas, Iowa State and Texas are all undefeated at home in Big 12 matches. The Cyclones have yet to host KU or UT this season.

With last Wednesday's win over ISU, Texas improved its conference home win streak to 38 straight matches. Texas' last home conference loss came from Oklahoma when the Sooners defeated UT on Oct. 29, 2008.

Oklahoma libero María Fernanda has moved into the No. 4 spot on the Big 12 list for career digs. Fernanda's 2,027 is 83 shy of the second-place spot and 267 shy of the first place spot. She is the only active player in the top 10 of any Big 12 career statistical lists this season.

Iowa State's 55 digs last Saturday vs. Oklahoma set a season-high for any Big 12 match on the year. The Cyclones also hit .373 in the sweep - their best attack percentage since hitting .402 against Missouri last season.

The Big 12 is 92-28 against non-conference competition this year. The Conference is 11-10 against ranked teams outside the Big 12.

Kansas swept the Big 12's weekly awards and have totaled six on the season - doubling the Jayhawks' previous season-high of three, set in 2011.
