Paola Ampudia (Missouri) and Ashley Mass (Iowa State) have been named the Big 12 Volleyball Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, for matches of Nov. 1-7, the Conference office announced. Ampudia's teammate Molly Kreklow has been selected the Rookie of the Week for the fourth time this season. Mass earns the 15th weekly accolade of her career, a Big 12 record, while Ampudia is honored for the seventh time overall.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Ampudia averaged 5.69 points and 5.38 kills in both of the Tigers' road victories last week, including a 3-1 upset of No. 12 Iowa State in Ames. Defensively, she contributed 3.12 digs per set. At Colorado, the senior recorded 21 kills and 14 digs on .278 hitting with a solo block in the four-set win. Ampudia followed that performance with a 22-kill, 11-dig outing in MU's first win over a ranked team in 2010. It also marked the Tigers' first victory over an AVCA top 15 squad since Sept. 23, 2006 (No. 5 Texas). Missouri also registered its last road triumph over a rated opponent that same season (Sept. 2, 2006). Ampudia committed just one reception in 32 attempts on the week. The Cali, Colombia-native compiled consecutive 20-plus kill efforts for the first time this season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ashley Mass, Iowa State, DS/L, Sr. 5-8, Muskego, Wis./Muskego
Mass collected a season-high 31 digs in the Cyclones' loss to Missouri, which was also a Big 12 high. Earlier in the week, she had 19 digs as ISU swept Baylor at home. The Big 12's all-time leader in digs paced the league with 7.14 digs per set on the week. She has posted 20-plus digs in a school-record 40 matches, including 12 outings with at least 30. Mass has also compiled double-digit digs in 112 of 116 starts in her career.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Molly Kreklow, Missouri, S, Fr., 6-0, Delano, Minn. / Delano
Kreklow led all freshmen in assists at 11.88 per set. She dished out 48 in the Tigers' four-set win at CU, while connecting on a pair of kills on four errorless attacks and recording four block assists. Kreklow tallied 47 assists, five kills and two aces and a block assist at 12th-ranked Iowa State. She posted nine digs on the week, including seven in Ames. The Delano, Minn.-native guided the Missouri offense to 15.00 kills per set and a .229 hitting clip.
