Chisholm, Boulavsky Named ESPN Academic All-Americans

Senior JuliAnne Chisholm (Kansas State) and junior Suzy Boulavsky (Oklahoma) have been named to the 2010 ESPN Academic All-America volleyball teams as selected by CoSIDA.

A second-team ESPN Academic All-American, Chisholm earns national status for the second time in her career. She was a third-team selection last season. Chisholm was recently named an Academic All-Big 12 first-team selection for the second straight season. The Hillsboro, Kan., native has a 3.97 grade point average in pre-medicine.

Boulavsky earns third-team Academic All-America honors after recently being tabbed a unanimous pick for All-Big 12 first-team honors. She was named an All-Central Region honorable mention selection and an Academic All-District first-team honoree in 2009. Boulavsky has claimed Academic All-Big 12 honors for two straight seasons. Boulavsky, a journalism major from Houston, Texas, holds a 3.95 overall GPA.
