Boulavsky earned a first team District 7 selection, while Allison Mayfield and Tayler Tolefree (Kansas) and Alisia Kastmo (Texas A&M) were recognized on the second team.
Boulavsky, who earned honors in 2010 and 2009, is the first three-time academic all-district honoree in the program's history. She boasts a 3.97 grade point average in public relations. The senior currently leads OU with 3.30 kills per set, a mark that ranks ninth in the Big 12. Her team-best 3.73 points per set are 10th best in the league.
Boulavsky was named to the Academic All-America third team last year and is a two-time academic All-Big 12 selection. She has earned All-Central Region honorable mention honors from the American Volleyball Coaches Association the past two years and was a first team All-Big 12 selection as a junior.
Mayfield, a senior in exercise science, and Tolefree, a junior in the pre-med/human biology program, have each started all 25 matches for the Jayhawks this season. Mayfield has ranked in the top three in the Big 12 in kills per set all season, while Tolefree's 96 block assists in 2011 rank ninth in program history.
Kastmo holds a 3.43 GPA in business administration studies at Texas A&M. The junior from Tyler, Texas, is averaging 2.66 kills this season along with 1.07 digs ands 0.53 blocks.
First-team Academic All-District honorees advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.
