OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Allison was a stellar all-around performer for No. 9 Texas in its victories over Baylor and Missouri last week. The Siloam Springs, Ark.-native set the Big 12's leading offense to a .354 team hitting percentage, while averaging 13.67 assists, 2.17 digs, 1.83 points, 1.17 kills and 1.00 blocks per set. In Texas' 3-0 win over Baylor, the sophomore led the Horns' attack to a .396 attack mark and notched four kills on five error-free swings herself. She averaged 13.50 assists per set and contributed two blocks and a service ace. In the Horns' 3-1 win at Missouri, Allison paced UT's offense to a .326 hitting percentage. She notched 55 assists, three kills, nine digs and four key blocks in the victory. Allison is seventh in the league overall this season with 9.52 assists, but ranks second in league-only contests, averaging 11.56.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kristen Hahn, Iowa State, L, So., Cedar Rapids, Iowa
Hahn averaged 5.50 digs per set and picked up her sixth match of the season with more than 25 digs as Iowa State swept Kansas State and came from behind to defeat Baylor in Waco, 3-2, last week. The sophomore finished one dig shy of her third match with 30 digs against the Bears, finishing the day with a match-high 29 digs. In only three sets against the Wildcats, Hahn collected 15 digs, giving her nine three-set matches with at least 15 digs on the season. Hahn added 1.00 assists per set during the stretch as well, including a five-assist performance at Baylor, the fourth time this season she has recorded five assists in a match. Against Big 12 opponents, Hahn is averaging 5.45 digs per set to lead the league-leading Cyclones, who average 18.09 digs per set in conference play. Iowa State is the only team with more than 18.00 digs per set this season.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Haley Eckerman, Texas, OH, Fr., Waterloo, Iowa
Eckerman shined for No. 9 Texas last week in its victories over Baylor and Missouri. The outside hitter connected for a team-best 3.71 kills per set for the week and totaled 3.86 points and 1.57 digs per set. In Texas' 3-0 win over Baylor, Eckerman hit for a team-best 10 kills and added five digs. At Missouri, Eckerman hammered out a team-high 16 kills and chipped in six digs and a service ace. The Longhorn is the only freshman in the top 10 for kills and points in league matches this season, averaging 3.69 kills and 4.08 points against Big 12 opponents.
