TCU will have one of the most inexperienced teams in women's college basketball as the school makes the transition into Big 12 play. There are only two seniors on the roster - guard Whitney Williams and forward Delisa Gross. Four freshmen - guard Zahna Medley, guard Kamy Cole, forward Caitlin Diaz and guard/forward Veja Hamilton - are being counted on to make significant contributions in the playing rotation.

"We'll have to develop depth. The league is very physical. The front line across the league has gotten huge. Nine of our 13 are freshmen and sophomores. So every day is a new challenge for them right now, learning to play at a level that's higher. But we'll know a little bit more as we get further into this season how much depth I'm going to be able to develop with this particular team."
The average age of the TCU roster is 19 years. TCU has three players on its roster that are 18 years old or younger, while six different student-athletes are only 19 years old. ...
