The Big 12 has completed the first four weeks of the season with a non-conference win percentage of .738 (48-17).

The Big 12 is one of two conferences in which every team is .500 or better and no team has more than three losses.  

Sixty percent of Big 12 teams are in the top 34 of the Jeff Sagarin RPI ratings and the Big 12 is rated No. 1 among conferences.

The Big 12 will have three matchups against Associated Press Top 5 teams this week. In the first four weeks of the season the Big 12 faced six ranked teams with three of those in the top 10.

Three Big 12 teams are in the top 12 nationally in scoring margin - 1. Baylor (+45.5), 4. Oklahoma State (+37.3) and 12. Iowa State (+27.0). Nine Conference teams have a positive scoring margin.

Every Big 12 team is holding opponents to under a 40% field goal percentage.

Nineteen freshmen have combined to start 51 games so far this season. Eighteen rookies are averaging over 5.0 points an outing.

Sixty percent of Big 12 teams are either ranked or receiving votes in the Associated Press and USA Today Coaches polls - Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State and Iowa State are ranked in both. Rankings are listed on page 2. The new coaches poll will be released on Tuesday. 

Brittney Martin (Oklahoma State) claimed Big 12 Women’s Basketball Player of the Week - her sixth weekly honor, while Seanna Johnson (Iowa State) earned her second-consecutive Freshman of the Week award.
