On the women's side, Brooke Brull (Kansas) and Lily Moldenhauer (Texas) earned swimmer of the week honors, while Maren Taylor (Texas) garnered the diver award. Men's Swimmer of the Week
Michael McBroom, Texas, Sr., The Woodlands, Texas
McBroom set the NCAA record in the 1000-yard freestyle with his mark of 8:43.48 against No. 1 Arizona and SMU.  It broke the previous NCAA record of 8:44.11 set by Michigan's Chris Thompson in 2001.  McBroom won the 1000-yard freestyle by 22 seconds. The senior also won the 500 freestyle with a NCAA "B" cut of 4:18.57.  His victories helped Texas defeat No. 1 Arizona and SMU.

Brull set season-best times in the 200-yard backstroke (2:01.64) and the 200-yard IM (2:05.57) in the final home meet of her career. The senior anchored the 400-yard freestyle relay team that also set a season-best time of 3:27.78 against Iowa State.

Lily Moldenhauer, Texas, Jr., San Antonio, Texas
Moldenhauer helped Texas defeat Arizona and SMU with a pair of wins in the 100 backstroke (53.04) and 100 butterfly (54.04).  She logged season bests in the events.  Moldenhauer added a win in the 100 backstroke in Texas' win at TCU.

Men's Diver of the Week
Will Chandler, Texas, So., Waco, Texas
Chandler's victories in the 1-meter and 3-meter boards helped Texas to victories over No. 1 Arizona and SMU.  Chandler won the 1-meter event by 34 points against both Arizona and SMU.  In UT's road win at TCU, Chandler won the 1-meter event by 44 points and totaled 432.53 points.

Women's Diver of the Week
