The Big 12 has made 23 Bowl appearances since round-robin scheduling began in 2011. The Big 12 has two teams playing in the BCS for the sixth time.

The Big 12 has made 22 appearances in a BCS game in the 16-year history of the structure, including the two appearances this season.

Big 12 bowl opponents have a combined record of 60-14 for an .810 win percentage.

Current Big 12 members have made 274 all-time bowl appearances. 

In each season since round robin play began, the Big 12 champion was determined in the last week of the season on Championship Saturday.

Big 12 teams have used 19 different starters at quarterback with six of those freshmen. Only two teams (Baylor and K-State) have used the same starter throughout the season.

Just three Big 12 teams – Oklahoma State, TCU and Texas – have a senior starter at quarterback.

The Big 12 is one of three FBS leagues, and the only among the power conferences, in which every team had at least one win in conference play.

The Big 12 boasts the most AFCA Coaches’ All-America Team representatives among current conference members with 268.

Due to the parity in the Conference, eight lower-ranked teams have defeated a higher-ranked Big 12 opponent since 2011. On 16 occasions, a ranked team has fallen to an unranked league foe, including four times this season.

Big 12 teams have scored non-offensive points on 42 occasions in 2013.

Big 12 offenses are averaging over 30 points and 400 yards a game for the fourth-consecutive season and sixth year out of the last seven.
