All nine Big 12 teams recorded at least one victory last weekend. Two Conference squads, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech, remain undefeated during the 2012 campaign.
On Sunday, WVU knocked off defending national champions and top-ranked Stanford, 1-0. It was one of only five losses for Stanford in the last four years and marked only the second time in Conference history that a Big 12 squad has knocked off a No. 1 team.
Baylor and Texas Tech pace the league on the offensive side of the ball, both averaging 6.5 points per game and totaling eight assists so far this season. Defensively, the league has produced 16 shutouts in 35 games.
The Big 12 has at least one ranked team (Oklahoma State) in every poll. The Cowgirls moved to No. 3 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire poll and Soccer America poll, and West Virginia is ranked at No. 24 in the Soccer America poll. Baylor and Texas Tech are receiving votes.
