Eight of the league’s nine teams will meet in Kansas City this week for the 18th annual Big 12 Soccer Championship at Swope Soccer Village.
West Virginia claimed its second-consecutive Big 12 soccer regular season crown and will be the No. 1 seed for the tournament. The remaining seeds are as follows: No. 2 Texas Tech, No. 3 Texas, No. 4 Iowa State, No. 5 Baylor, No. 6 Oklahoma State, No. 7 TCU and No. 8 Kansas.
The quarterfinal and semifinal rounds of the Big 12 Championship will be streamed by the Big 12 Digital Network on Big12Sports.com with Lincoln Rose handling the play-by-play duties. The event’s finale on Sunday at 3:30 p.m. will be broadcast on FOX Sports 1.

Texas is the only league team to make each of the Big 12’s 18 Soccer Championships.
The Big 12 has had at least two teams ranked in the top 25 in all of the season’s 12 weeks. A total of six league teams have been ranked or received votes at some point this season.
