Texas Tech's Jaelene Hinkle and West Virginia's Frances Silva helped the U.S. U-23 Women's National Team clinch the Six Nations Tournament title Wednesday in La Manga, Spain with a 2-1 victory over Norway.

In the squad's match against Sweden, Silva scored the game-winner off an assist from Hinkle in the 31st minute.

Hinkle recorded more than 1,500 minutes of action on the Red Raider backline in 2013 while making 17 starts in 23 matches. With a team-leading six assists on the season, Hinkle helped Tech advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second-consecutive season.

Silva led the Mountaineers to two Big 12 titles this season, as the team won its second straight regular-season championship and its first Big 12 Soccer Tournament. The Mountaineers (16-4-3, 7-1 Big 12) finished the year ranked No. 12 in the NSCAA/Continental Tire College Rankings. WVU advanced to its 14th consecutive appearance in the NCAA Tournament and finished the season with a 1-0 loss at No. 1-seed Virginia Tech in the second round on Nov. 22.
