Demonstrating the exceptional depth of talent of 2013 college football receivers, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc., the creator and sponsor of the Biletnikoff Award, presented to college football's outstanding receiver, added six receivers to its watch list today including two from the Big 12.
Big 12 student-athletes added to the list include Antwan Goodley (Baylor) and Tyler Lockett (K-State). Goodley has recorded 14 catches, 370 yards and 4 touchdowns so far this season. Lockett caught a career-high 13 passes for a school-record of 237 yards in last Saturday's game against Texas, breaking Jordy Nelson's record by 23 yards.
Other Big 12 representatives on the initial watch list Tevin Reese (Baylor), Trey Metoyer (Oklahoma), Jalen Saunders (Oklahoma), Tracy Moore (Oklahoma State), Josh Stewart (Oklahoma State), Brandon Carter (TCU), Mike Davis (Texas), Jaxon Shipley (Texas), Eric Ward (Texas Tech) and Jordan Thompson (West Virginia).
Ten semifinalists will be announced by the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation on Nov. 18. The 2013 finalists will be revealed on Nov. 25. The 2013 Biletnikoff Award recipient, selected by a committee of over 200 journalists, commentators and past receivers, will be announced at The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN Thursday, Dec. 12.
