The Tigers made another attempt to score in the bottom of the fifth, but two were left standing after one hit and a hit by pitch. In the sixth, BU’s Bree Hanafin singled to left field, to advance KJ Freeland, but both were left on after second baseman Andee Allen (MU) fielded a hard-hit ground ball to keep the score deadlocked at 0-0. In the bottom half of the inning, MU’s Allen hit a triple to right center to put the Tigers in scoring position. With two outs, Marla Schweisberger stepped up to the plate and hit a single to allow Allen to score the game-winning run.
