Pendley helped ignite OU’s offense as the team went 5-0 out of conference play this week. She led the Sooners in triples (2), RBI (11) and total bases (12).

Against Central Arkansas, Pendley hit a grand slam to break a scoreless tie en route to an 8-0, run-rule victory. It was her second grand slam of the year and third of her career.

After going 0-3 against North Texas, Pendley bounced back to help OU take the opener against UAB, 11-3, in five innings. She hit a two-run single to start a seven-run second inning and added a stolen base later.

Pendley made history in the team’s 8-4 win Saturday, tying the school record with two triples. She hit a bases-loaded triple in the second inning and then added a two-run triple in the fourth. It was the ninth time in program history a player hit two triples.

Big 12 Pitcher of the Week
Gretchen Aucoin, Texas Tech, So., RHP, Ocean Springs, Miss.
