The Big 12 Conference has selected global firm Hill+Knowlton Strategies as its public relations agency of record. The Big 12 account, which H+K Strategies won in a competitive bid, will be led by H+K Strategies' Dallas office with support from its Washington, D.C. office.

H+K Strategies will work with the Big 12 Conference to provide comprehensive communications support including brand positioning, marketing communications, media relations, digital communications and stakeholder engagement across the organization and its 10 member institutions.

"The Conference's eight-person public relations agency selection committee was impressed by the caliber of H+K Strategies, its ability to create innovative programs that deliver results and understanding of our business challenges," said Kansas State University president and selection committee member, Kirk Schulz. "As the Big 12 Conference welcomes its two new members, we wanted to execute a more aggressive communications campaign to promote the many strengths of our conference and member institutions. We believe H+K Strategies is the right partner and we are excited to work with their team to carry out a dynamic, multifaceted communication strategy."

"We are proud to add the Big 12 Conference as a marquee client to our U.S. sports marketing and sponsorship practice," said Ken Luce, global chief operating officer at H+K Strategies. "The Big 12 is highly regarded on a national level and this win is a clear demonstration of our exceptional energy, creativity and ability to implement programs that drive measurable business results for our clients."
