Six Big 12 squads were selected for the NCAA Championship - the highest total for the league since 2008. It is the best total since the conference began competition with nine teams (2011).

All six Big 12 schools will host first-round contests, the second-highest total among all conferences (Pac-12, 7).

The six NCAA bids by the Big 12 in 2014 are tied for third among all conferences. The six teams are a combined 34-13-2 (.714) all-time versus their first-round opponents.

Big 12 soccer has six teams ranked in the top 40 of the latest NCAA RPI, with eight squads placed in the top 68. The Big 12 is rated as the No. 2 conference in the nation in the latest RPI.

A total of 88.9 percent of the teams in the Big 12 (eight of nine squads) have .500 or better records this season. That’s the best percentage of any conference in the nation.

Six Big 12 teams are ranked in the top 40 of the RPI for just the third time in conference history (2008, ‘03).

Every Big 12 squad finished the regular season ranked in the top 75 nationally for the nation’s toughest schedules, led by No. 2 Oklahoma State. In addition to OSU, three other schools are in the top 25 - Texas (12), Oklahoma (20) and West Virginia (25).

Big 12 squads have a .707 win percentage versus non-conference foes, the third-best tally in league history. The Big 12 has not lost a non-conference match since September 21.

The Big 12 has had at least three ranked teams for 11 consecutive weeks, including four ranked squads in three of those weeks.

West Virginia is just the second school in Big 12 history to win three straight regular season titles. The Mountaineers have an 18-match unbeaten streak overall.
