Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week
Jonathan Gray, Texas, RB, So, Aledo, Texas
Jonathan Gray registered career highs for rushing yards (141), carries (28) and rushing touchdowns (2) in Texas' 31-21 win over K-State. He also had two receptions for 14 yards to record a career-best 155 all-purpose yards. Gray’s TD runs came from 21 yards out in the second quarter and 15 yards in the third quarter. His 61 yards on 13 carries on first down helped Texas' up-tempo offense stay ahead of the chains and generate 452 yards of offense on the night. Of his rushing yards, 102 came in the second and third quarters as the Horns dealt with losing starting quarterback David Ash and maintained their double-digit lead in the game.

Big 12 Defensive Co-Players of the Week
Terrell Burt, Baylor, S, So, Wylie, Texas
Terrell Burt registered a career-high seven tackles (4 solo) and his first career interception in Baylor’s 70-7 win over UL-Monroe. He returned the pick 63 yards for a touchdown to put BU ahead 28-0 in the first quarter. Burt helped BU hold ULM to 295 yards of offense and seven points in the game. The Baylor defense has allowed only 23 points in three games and no TDs after halftime this season.

Jackson Jeffcoat, Texas, DE, Sr, Plano, Texas
Jackson Jeffcoat posted five tackles, two sacks and two quarterback hurries to help the Longhorns hold K-State to 115 yards on 38 carries in the 31-21 win. K-State entered the game averaging 171 yards rushing and 35 points per game. Jeffcoat's two sacks, totaling 11 yards in loss, came on the Wildcats’ final two drives as the Horns halted any chance of a comeback. His sack for an eight-yard loss in the final minute of the game came at the Longhorns’ 11-yard line and forced K-State into a third and long situation.

Big 12 Special Teams Player of the Week
Trevor Pardula, Kansas, K/P, Jr, San Jose, Calif.

Trevor Pardula set a Kansas record for punting average in a game after averaging 57.6 yards on five punts in KU’s 13-10 win over Louisiana Tech. Three of his five punts were downed inside the 20-yard line. He recorded a career-long 78-yard punt in the third quarter, which tied for eighth-longest in school history and was the longest Jayhawk boot since Rich Reith hit a 78-yarder on Oct. 18, 1986. Later in the third quarter, Pardula added a 65-yard punt. His previous best was a 59-yarder against Rice. Pardula leads the Big 12 and ranks second nationally in punting average at 49.7 yards.
