Offensive Player of the Week and Newcomer of the Week
Michelle Prokof, TCU, F, Fr., Gurnee, Ill. / Warren Township HS

Prokof was responsible for all four goals scored by the Horned Frogs last week. She became the first TCU player since 2009 to record a hat trick, netting all three goals in the 3-0 win against Central Arkansas. Her other goal came in Friday’s 1-1 tie with No. 14 Denver. She gave TCU the 1-0 lead early in the game. Prokof recorded four goals for eight points. Six of her seven shots were on goal and she scored on four of her seven shots.

Defensive Player of the Week
Kaitlyn Stroud, Kansas, GK, Jr., Fayetteville, Ga. / Starrs Mill HS

Kansas goalkeeper Kaitlyn Stroud’s goalkeeping heroics helped lift the Jayhawks to an undefeated weekend with wins over South Dakota State and Illinois State. The junior tallied three saves in KU’s 2-1 victory over the Jackrabbits Friday. She then posted her third shutout of the season against the Redbirds Sunday with the help of seven saves, four of which came in the final 15 minutes of action. She also faced a season-high 23 shots in the win over the Redbirds. Her .909 save percentage was the highest of any two-game stretch this season.
