WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
Chris Spangler, Iowa State, Jr., 174 pounds
Spangler posted a 7-4 upset over third-ranked Dorian Henderson in the Cyclones’ Big 12 dual against Missouri on Sunday.

Down in the first period, Spangler fought off an early deficit with a takedown, two back points and a reversal late in the match to claim the win. Spangler’s reversal kept the match from overtime as he led 5-4 with 40 seconds remaining, but Henderson had locked up riding time.

On the year, Spangler leads Iowa State in dual takedowns with 13, and he is third on the team in escapes with eight. Spangler is 5-1 overall.
