Big 12 Leads Nation in Ranked Teams and Win Percentage

The Big 12 leads the nation in non-conference win percentage (.851) and fewest losses (40-7).

The Big 12 is the only league in which fifty percent of its membership is undefeated and one of just two leagues (Big East) with five undefeated teams.

Conference teams are 23-2 in home games and 191-10 on their home courts since the beginning of the 2010-11 season. The Big 12 led the nation in home non-conference win percentage the past two years.

Seventy percent of Big 12 squads are ranked or receiving votes in the AP Poll: 3. Baylor, 12. Oklahoma, 13. Texas, 18. Oklahoma State, 20. Kansas, 24. Iowa State and 25. West Virginia. ISU jumped into the media ratings for the first time this season.

The Big 12 is the only conference with seven ranked teams and the only with 70% of its membership ranked. Other leagues' ratings are: ACC (3-12/25%), Big Ten (4-12/33%), Big East (4-15/27%), Pac-12 (3-12/25%) and SEC (3-14/21%).

The Conference has had a league-high seven teams rated in 22 AP polls over the history of the Big 12.

Big 12 teams are averaging 73.9 points and holding opponents to 56.0 for a +17.9 scoring margin.

Every Big 12 team is holding its opponents under a 40 percent field goal percentage.

Six Big 12 coaches have won over 300 career games.
