Missouri will host this year's Big 12 Men's Golf Championship. The event will take place at Prairie Dunes Golf & Country Club for the 10th time in conference history on April 27-29, 2009.

Prairie Dunes opened its first nine holes in 1937 and 20 years later completed the back nine holes. Located in Hutchinson, Kan., this course has played home to many major events since its grand opening 71 years ago, including the PGA.

The tournament features a 72-hole format on the 72-par, 7,480-yard course. A total of 36 holes are played on the first day followed by 18 holes on each of the final two days of competition.

Last season, Oklahoma State earned a Big 12-leading sixth conference title at Whispering Pines Golf Club in Trinity, Texas. The Texas Longhorns are next with three league championships, followed by Baylor, Kansas and Oklahoma with one title each. The top 10 individual finishers each season are named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.

Admission is free to the public.
