The Big 12 Conference has announced the 2013 All-Big 12 Gymnastics Team, which includes the top three conference gymnasts with the highest regional qualifying score (RQS) in each event and two all-around competitors. RQS figures are based off the final regular-season GymInfo rankings.

Oklahoma led the way with six selections while West Virginia earned one recognition. Five OU gymnasts took all-conference honors in multiple evets - Erica Brewer (bars, beam), Keeley Kmieciak (bars, vault), Brie Olson (bars, floor, all-around), Haley Scaman (floor, vault) and Taylor Spears (beam, floor).

With her three selections this season, Olson has claimed a total of five all-conference honors, having collected awards on vault and bars last season. The senior ranks in the top 12 nationally in every event she has been honored (seventh on bars, seventh all-around and 12th on floor).

This is the third straight year Spears has captured an all-conference nod for beam and first for floor. The junior is ranked No. 1 nationally on beam and 22nd on floor.

The 2013 Big 12 Gymnastics Championship is set for Saturday, March 23, at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa. Competition is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. CT.
