The Texas Tech Red Raiders and Lady Raiders will be featured this week on Inside College Tennis with Tony Minnis on the Tennis Channel.
Inside College Tennis will debut the new episode on Thursday at 7 p.m. CT on the Tennis Channel following the quarterfinals of BNP Paribas Open at Indian Wells. The show will re-air on Friday at 4 p.m. and again on Sunday at 5:30 p.m.
Texas Tech is the third school to be featured on the program, joining TCU and Tulane.
The Lady Raiders, led by sixth-year head coach Todd Petty, are currently 10-5 on the season and ranked No. 30 in the ITA. Texas Tech has won a share of each of the last two Big 12 Conference regular season titles and advanced to its first two NCAA Championships in program history.
The Red Raiders, led by 22nd-year head coach Tim Siegel, is currently 8-5 on the season and ranked No. 41 in the ITA. The Red Raiders have been ranked in the ITA Top 25 in seven of the last nine seasons and have made 12 NCAA Championship appearances under Siegel.
The Bill Rodman Production Shoppe, which produces Inside College Tennis with Tony Minnis, spent four days in Lubbock following both the men’s and women’s tennis teams to create the 30-minute program.
Fans can view the episode on DirectTV (channel 217), AT&T U-verse (channel 660), Charter (channels 288 or 710), Access Media 3 (channel 400), Time Warner (channels 192 or 795) or Dish Network (channel 400).
