Ten Big 12 tennis squads advanced to NCAA postseason play (5 men’s, 5 women’s). On the women’s side, Baylor advanced furthest making an appearance in the Sweet 16. Three of the league’s men’s teams made it to the Elite Eight, with Oklahoma going all the way to the national championship match.
The Big 12 was represented by 15 singles players and five doubles tandems at the 2014 NCAA Division I Men's and Women's Tennis Championships. Soren Hess-Olesen (Texas) and the Oklahoma State doubles team of Arjun Kadhe and Jakob Sude both represented the league in the championship’s semifinal round.
All six men’s squads ended the season in the ITA’s team rankings marking the 16th-consecutive week that 100% of the league’s men’s squads have been ranked in the top 60. The Big 12 is the only conference to end the season with three teams in the top 10.
Eight of the league’s women’s squads ended the season in the final ITA team rankings. Four Big 12 women’s teams cracked the top 25.
