The meet, used for qualification purposes for the NCAA Track and Field Championships, features the top 48 athletes in the western and eastern portions of the United States in each event along with the top 24 relays.
The league has the third-most men among conferences with 175 participants. The Longhorns' 32 participants is the second-most among schools nationally, while Texas A&M follows with 31.
On the women's side, the Big 12's 170 entries is the fourth-highest among all conferences. The league's women have the second-most competitors in the throws, as well as the third-most participants in mid-distance, distance and relays. Missouri sends 10 throwers to the prelims, the most of any school nationally.
The top 12 in each event advance to the NCAA Championships June 6-9 in Des Moines, Iowa.
