Big 12 Earns 100 All-America Honors

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced Monday the list of those Division I student-athletes who earned USTFCCCA All-America honors for the 2014 outdoor track & field season.

A total of 63 women and 37 men Big 12 student-athletes earned All-America honors.

Texas led the women’s side with 18 All-America honorees. Baylor led the men with nine named to the All-America team.

Student-athletes were honored for their performances at the NCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships this past weekend in Eugene, Oregon.

First-Team All-America honors were awarded to those who finished among the top eight in an individual or relay event as part of a team; Second-Team All-America honors went to those who finished between ninth and 16th; and Honorable Mention honors were given to the remaining finishers.
