Five Big 12 Squads Make The Big Dance
The Big 12 had five teams selected to the NCAA Championship in 2013, the sixth straight year at least five teams earned bids.  In the league's 17-year history, at least five schools have been chosen 13 times. 

Last Five Seasons, Big 12 Is The Best
Over the last five years, the Big 12 has won 61.8 percent of its games in NCAA play.  The winning percentage leads the nation during that time. 

Ready To Play In Early Rounds
The Big 12 has done well as a conference at the start of the NCAA Championship.  The league is 18-6 (.750) in NCAA games prior to the Round of 32 over the past four seasons (2009-12).  Since 2008, Big 12 teams are  23-7 (.767) in the first NCAA contest for each school.  Conference squads are 26-8 (.765) in their first matchups during the previous six tournaments.
