Seven Big 12 Men's Golfers Earn PING All-America Status

A total of seven Big 12 men's golfers have been named to PING All-America Teams, announced the Golf Coaches Association of America.

National champion Texas led the way with three honorees, placing Dylan Frittelli and Jordan Spieth on the first team, while Julio Vegas earned third-team accolades. The Longhorn trio also earned Golfweek All-America honors this season.

Joakim Mikkelsen (Baylor), Nate McCoy (Iowa State), Will Kropp (Oklahoma) and Cameron Peck (Texas A&M) tallied honorable mention distinctions. It is the second All-America recogntion this month for Mikkelsen, McCoy and Peck, as they received All-America status from Golfweek earlier this month.
