Bergmann, a senior chemistry major with a 3.91 grade-point average, is a three-time All-America First Team choice in the javelin throw. She finished sixth in the javelin at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Championships and third at the 2013 Big 12 Outdoor Championships. A native of Concordia, Kan., Bergmann holds the Kansas school record in the javelin with a career-best mark of 172-9. A three-time member of the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, she notched two victories this season, one at the Kansas Relays and the other at the Emporia Spring Open.
Bennett, a native of Mesa, Ariz., has a perfect 4.00 GPA with a major in supply chain management. A senior at Oklahoma, she is a three-time Academic All-Big 12 First Team honoree and was named to the 2012 USTFCCAA All-Academic team. Bennett scored at the 2012 Big 12 Indoor Championship in the pole vault. She is an eight-time Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll and Sooner Scholar and an eight-time member of the President's Honor Roll.
