West Virginia head coach Nikki Izzo-Brown picked up career win No. 250 with a 4-0 Mountaineer win over Central Michigan on Aug. 30. Coach Brown and WVU face two top 15 teams this week, No. 12 Duke and No. 1 North Carolina, in the Duke Nike Classic.

Defensive play continues to be solid throughout the Big 12 as every team’s goal against average is 1.75 or less. Through four games Baylor has given up zero goals.

Oklahoma’s four goals against Texas State were the most in a single game for the Sooners since 2011.

With 218 saves, Iowa State goalkeeper Maddie Jobe is 22 saves away from being the all-time leader in Cyclone history (240).

Baylor, off to its best start of the Coach Jobson era, received the schools highest ever national ranking this week coming in at No. 9 in the NSCAA/Continental Tires Top 25.

Oklahoma State’s Courtney Dike became the 5th student-athlete to notch both Offensive Player and Newcomer of the Week honors in the same week. Dike currently leads the Big 12 in goals, points and shots.
