For the second week in a row, Sallie McLaurin (Oklahoma) and Jordan Anderson (West Virginia) have garnered Big 12 volleyball weekly honors. Joining the repeating pair of honorees is Caroline Jarmoc (Kansas) who was named the Defensive Player of the Week.
McLaurin earns her second consecutive and third career Offensive Player of the Week. She has totaled eight career weekly honors, which is sixth-most in league history.
Jarmoc earns her fourth defensive distinction in her career, while Anderson’s Rookie of the Week is her second after earning the same distinction last week.
This is the 12th time a student-athlete has collected Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks, however, this is the first time an Oklahoma player has won the award in consecutive weeks.
