
In the bottom of the fifth, OSU struck first as the team went on a 7-0 run over the Red Raiders. The Cowgirls recorded six hits, which included two walks, two singles, three doubles, a triple, sacrifice fly and a bunt. Tech was unable to come back in the next two innings, as OSU closed out the game after the top of the sixth.
OSU (34-20) will next see the No. 2-seed Missouri tomorrow, May 8, at 11 a.m. in game three of the 2009 Big 12 Softball Championship.
