Schwindel's five-point weekend helped the No. 25 Mountaineers stay in first place in the Big 12. WVU was the only Big 12 team with a 2-0 record last week. The sophomore forward tallied her eighth game-winning goal in a 1-0 win over Kansas.
She followed up with three assists in a 3-2 road win at Iowa State, which was the second time this season she has posted a three-assist performance.
The Livingston, N.J.-native leads the team and the conference with 23 points and seven assists.
