Six Garner Preseason All-America Recognition

Six Big 12 players were named 2018 Collegiate Baseball Preseason All-Americans, as announced by the organization.

First team honorees included Texas Tech’s left-handed pitcher Steven Gingery and TCU first baseman Luken Baker. Second team members were TCU right-handed pitcher Jared Janczak and Texas Tech utility player John McMillon. Texas’ right-hander Nolan Kingham and Oklahoma outfielder Steele Walker garnered third team recognition.

Gingery, a junior from Huntington Beach, Calif., was the 2017 Big 12 Pitcher of the Year. Baker was an All-Big 12 Second Team selection last season. Janczak, Kingham and Walker were All-Big 12 First Team honorees in 2017.
